God Neptune Fountain

Situated in Piazza Mazzini, the fountain representing the sea god, Neptune, was made out of travertine in 1882 by the sculptor, Ottavio De Angelis.

The fountain was placed in its present setting around 1950, which is also when the shell, the horses and the basin were constructed.

In 1997, the fountain was restored with the help of, among others, the Pro Loco Association of Nettuno.
