The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace and of St. Maria Goretti

It was built on the base of Annunziata church. The Sanctuary, which has been trusted te the Passionist Fathers, guards the wooden statue of Our Lady of Grace.

The holies imagine landed in Nettuno in 1450, escaping from England because of the Henry VIII religious persecutions.

Since 1950 the Sanctuary preserves the body of St. Maria Goretti, the child saint, symbol of purity and dignity. The Sanctuary is visited every year by thousands of believers.
